In this session, Nicola will pick up the strategies for wellbeing and performance that she highlighted in her keynote and explore how to implement them in school. She will be able to give much more detail, particularly to the management of screen-time and improvement of concentration. Consider the keynote as the fascinating and empowering theory and background, while the breakout session is the practical application and a chance for you to discuss and share good pedagogy. The aim is for us to enable our students to be the active agents of their own wellbeing and therefore success.

This session will outline the Cambridge approach to school improvement, introducing participants to the standards, how they can be evaluated by key stakeholders, and then reported on to senior management. The session is primarily aimed at school leadership.

Cambridge qualifications are rigorous academic programmes of study which prepare students with the skills and knowledge they need to make a success of their studies at university. This introductory overview of the global recognition will aim to give generic advice on how best to support students with Cambridge qualifications applying to universities and colleges. Information will be provided on the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and Singapore. This is intended for guidance counsellors new to the role. Case studies will include hearing from representatives of universities.
