In 2016 more than 86,000 students in China took Cambridge exams, an increase of 13% compared with the previous year.
在此次颁奖典礼上，全国有来自50所剑桥学校的130名学子分别获得了142个奖项，包括表彰全球最高分的“世界顶尖奖”、在中国地区取得最高分的“中国顶尖奖”、在多科目考试中均取得出色成绩的“综合科目最优奖”，以及为鼓励那些在非热门科目中取得优异成绩的“出色成绩奖”。
In late November and early December, we held Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award ceremonies in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen to recognise the achievements of the highest performing students. We issued 142 awards to 130 students from 50 Cambridge schools across the country. These awards included, ‘Top in the World’ for the highest standard mark gained worldwide for a single subject, ‘Top in China’ for the highest standard mark in China, ‘Best Across’ for the highest cumulative standard marks across a number of subjects, and ‘High Achievement’ for outstanding results in subjects with lower entry numbers.
