COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The course aims to provide a preparatory training to improve candidates’ writing ability in dealing with the various writing tasks in IB English B Paper 2.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Upon completion of this course students will:
learn to understand the writing requirements of the different text types and use the relevant writing strategies to cope with the writing tasks in Paper 2 (both in standard and high level English B subject).
be able to use writing skills and strategies more effectively in accomplishing IB English B Paper 2 writing tasks.
train candidate reading comprehension in order to understand the writing stimulus more accurately and sensibly.
acquire and improve the candidates’ language competence to a higher level in order to produce effective writing output in a sensible and authentic style.

IB 英语写作课程
课程目标：
此课程目的是为IB国际课程学生提供一个在短期内有针对性的有效提高写作能力的培训。学员将通过有经验的IB考官老师的培训，能熟练正确地完成IB英语B课程考试中的写作任务，有效提高写作水平，使学员在原有的水平上提高写作表现和考试成绩。
培训目标：
培养和提高学员对英语写作的兴趣和热情。
培训正确理解IB英语B(包括High Level和Standard Level)写作考试中各种文体的要求，让学员学会采用有效的写作策略来完成Paper 2的写作任务。
诊断学员写作中的个性化问题和瓶颈，一对一的有针对性地点拨和指导学员学习写作技巧和提高写作技能。
培养学员如何完整地理解写作任务中题目的涵盖要求，让学员学会如何有效地审题并快速入手进行写作。
培养学员如何运用不同的语言文采（formal， semi-formal, informal）提高写作成绩，在短期内有效地提高书面表达能力，使学员形成明智和正宗的书面表达风格。
提高学员的书面表达能力，奠定语言运用能力，为进一步的学术写作打下良好的基础。

暑假临近，准备就读IB的同学，一学期下来学科基础薄弱、想下学期跟上学校教学节奏并拥有满意GPA的同学，准备厚积薄发、取得优异成绩的同学，以及在IA和EE选题、写作中遇到难以克服的问题的同学，中国IB教育者作为IB辅导资源配置中心，将和大家一起解决成绩提升的瓶颈问题。
